Fritzie Galliani

Fritzie Galliani brings over 30 years of legal experience in California and the latest addition to the legal team at H Bui Law Firm. Her career spans family law, criminal prosecution, and criminal defense, giving her clients the benefit of a rare, well-rounded perspective on the justice system.

Fritzie began her legal career in Sacramento, working in the Assembly Speaker's Office, before moving into prosecution in the Los Angeles area. As a prosecutor, she focused extensively on domestic violence cases, serving as the domestic violence coordinator for the San Fernando and West L.A. regions. In this role, she was actively involved in prosecutions and enforcement programs that helped reestablish city regulations addressing domestic violence.

She later transitioned from prosecution to criminal defense, joining a county-contracted criminal defense firm that grew from 11 attorneys to over 100 during her tenure. She was ultimately promoted to Director of Alternate Defense Counsel, overseeing the firm's criminal defense attorneys as well as dependency court lawyers contracted to represent parents and children.

In family law, Fritzie has litigated hundreds of cases and developed a particular specialty in domestic violence matters. In 2017, she successfully litigated a complex case involving psychological abuse, securing a lifetime restraining order for her client. The case was appealed three times, with her client prevailing at every stage, and it was among several landmark cases that contributed to legislative reform recognizing coercive control as a form of domestic violence. She has since presented seminars locally and statewide alongside psychologists on this topic.

Fritzie's deep familiarity with the judicial system — from both the prosecution and defense sides — allows her to anticipate challenges and advocate effectively for her clients at every stage of a case.
